Cycling holiday
dreams come true

We make it possible

"There's no such thing as impossible" was the motto of Radreisefreunde GmbH long before it merged with PEDALO Touristik GmbH. We continue to adhere to this principle in the new, enlarged company and strive to fulfil even the most unusual travel wishes of our customers. Small and large, national and international groups (and all their special requirements) are in good hands with us. We are always open to suggestions for adaptations and variations to our existing tours.

The conception and organisation of tailor-made tours for business customers is still carried out at our branch in Engelhartszell, directly on the Danube cycle path. The team around managing director Hubert Simader (formerly Radreisefreunde) and Laurenz Stritzinger (PEDALO Touristik) will be happy to help you.

You can read more about the background of our development - before and after the merger - in the PEDALO company history.

Well-planned and perfectly organised: cycling holidays powered by PEDALO

We want to allow our guests to fully concentrate on what really matters during their holiday - cycling and enjoyment. That's why we take care of all the organisational stuff for them:

We book cosy and pleasant accommodation, with various categories available in some cases. A hearty breakfast, usually in buffet form, ensures a good start to the day.

The tour description will tell you whether further meals are included in the tour price or can be booked separately.

Naturally, our guests do not have to carry their luggage with them on a PEDALO cycle tour. They simply leave it at the hotel each morning for the luggage courier, and when they arrive at their next accommodation in the evening, it will already be there waiting for them.

Our cycling tour routes are carefully planned and plotted. Depending on the type of trip, the travel documents provided include a road book and/or detailed map material. For the sake of the environment, these are now increasingly available in digital form. For most trips, GPS data and the free PEDALO app are also available to help with wayfinding.

Whether before booking, during the final travel preparations or while you are on the road - if  a problem arises, help and advice is available to our guests at any time via our free hotline.

In addition to the 'core services' of a PEDALO cycling tour, our trips often include various extras such as city tours, museum admissions, tastings, ferry or train journeys and so on.

You will find the exact list for each trip in the 'Services & Information' section.

You can either bring your own bike or book a well-maintained rental bike. The selection of bikes varies depending on the type of trip.

E-bikes are now available for almost all of our cycling tours, while road cyclists can choose from up to six different types of road bikes on certain tours.

Customise your PEDALO cycling trip to suit your own needs and desires with additional extras.

Extend your trip with additional nights at the start or end location, or even somewhere in between. Round off your staged tour by taking advantage of the return transfer back to the starting point. An individual road bike training week can be turned into a social occasion in no time at all by booking a group package.

Available extras can be found in the 'Services & Information' section.

All PEDALO cycling tours require independent travel to the starting point. We provide tour-specific information on how to get there, parking options, or - for more distant destinations - which is the nearest airport. This information can be found either in the tour description ('Arrival/Departure' section) or, in the case of a booking, in detailed form with the travel documents sent to you.

In principle, all the information on prices, dates, services, etc. as stated in the respective tour description also applies to you as a travel agency. This does not include discounts (early bird discounts, group discounts and other limited-time promotional offers), which are reserved exclusively for private customers.

We would be happy to send you the PEDALO cycle tour catalogue free of charge so that you can display it in your business premises. We accept orders from travel agencies via our contact form or by email to info@pedalo.com. When the new edition is published in autumn, you will receive up-to-date sample copies with an order form for further catalogues.

Please note that the PEDALO cycle tour catalogue is only available in German.

Tailoring cycling tours to suit a wide range of needs is one of PEDALO's particular strenghts. On our tailor-made cycling tours page, you will find some examples of very special travel projects that we have successfully carried out in recent years. We would also be happy to put together an offer for your customers based on the motto 'Your route. Your rules.'

If you are a tour operator and would like to include PEDALO cycling tours in your programme on a long-term basis, please contact us and we will prepare offers for you that are tailored precisely to your company and your clientele. You can find an overview of our own trips, which we can also offer to other tour operators for resale, on the PEDALO Originals page.
