The itinerary
at a glance

For yout 7-day location-based tour in the Longa de Schiavon area

Enjoy the hotel's amenities from the very first day of your arrival.

The first bike ride whisks you through the enchanting, rolling hills surrounding the charming town of Marostica. A gentle climb leads you to breathtaking panoramic views of the region, a reward that makes the effort worthwhile. Along the way, cherry trees in full bloom offer a delightful opportunity for a refreshing snack, quickly dispelling any traces of exertion. For lunch, we’ve arranged a delightful meal at the Trattoria "Caissa" in Marostica. This picturesque medieval town is renowned for its spectacular "live chess game." After savoring the culinary and cultural delights, it’s just a short, pleasant ride back to the hotel.

At the start of today’s bike tour, you’ll leisurely head towards Asolo. Before you reach this idyllic village of Roman origin for your first break, you'll tackle a longer climb. Once you've conquered the ascent, continue with renewed energy through the rolling landscape to the town of Bassano del Grappa. Here, you'll enjoy a tasting session at the Poli Grappa Museum and visit the world-renowned 13th-century covered wooden bridge spanning the Brenta River.

From nature to culture. The route takes you through the Brenta Nature Park, where you’ll have plenty of time to appreciate the natural beauty during a relaxed bike ride. A visit to Villa Contarini is a must, as it’s a masterpiece of Venetian villa architecture you won’t want to miss. On your return to the hotel, let the Brenta River guide you back through the scenic landscape.

Today, you’ll cycle through the flat landscape, passing vast fields of corn along scenic routes. In Vicenza, take a break to admire the works of the medieval master architect Palladio, including the Basilica, Teatro Olimpico, and several stunning palazzi. These architectural marvels give the city its unique and charming atmosphere.

Today’s ride takes you through the picturesque wine region of Breganze, where over 2,000 vintners craft exquisite DOC-certified red and white wines. As you pedal through the rolling hills, you’ll have the opportunity to taste renowned varieties such as Cabernet and Pinot Bianco, essential highlights of any tasting experience. The route back to your accommodation is lined with verdant vineyards, creating a scenic and serene backdrop for your return journey.

There are places in the world of cycle touring that are just so picturesque and diverse that once you have arrived, you can't tear yourself away. They have so much to offer that you will struggle to decide which direction to cycle in first. These special spots are where we at PEDALO have created our location-based tours just for you.

Keep riding, but always stay in the same place

In contrast to staged tours and round trips, you won't cycle from place to place, and thus from hotel to hotel. Instead, you will stay in one and the same accommodation for the duration of your cycling holiday. This hotel will be the starting point for fascinating cycling excursions in the surrounding area. Every day, there will be new routes for you to explore. Every evening, you will return to hosts who put their heart and soul into their work and offer you a pleasantly cosy atmosphere with a healthy dose of class. Instead of having to pack your bags each day, you simply get to ride your bike and enjoy your holiday.

For beginners, improvers - and anyone seeking a breath of fresh air

This type of cycling holiday is designed for anyone who likes to take it easy. If you’re feeling a bit too sore for cycling or the weather isn't looking good, you can simply take a day off. Location-based tours are also ideal for first-time cyclists who may not yet know exactly how much they can or want to tackle in a day. No unnecessary stress, just pure freedom - so your tour can be all about the joy of cycling!

Your travel documents usually include general travel information, a hotel list, a road book and/or detailed maps as well as a textual description of the route; you will also get luggage tags and possibly also vouchers and/or information material on the various sightseeing attractions. The exact contents of the information package depend on the booked trip and its included services.

The documents will be sent to you approx. two to three weeks before the start of your tour. Depending on the trip, you may receive them partly in digital form and partly by post – or you will receive the hotel list and general travel information in advance by e-mail, and the remaining documents along with the maps on site at your starting hotel.

Please note that the travel documents are issued exclusively for PEDALO guests and are therefore not available without a booking.

Travel insurance is not included in our prices. You can decide whether to get a quote elsewhere or simply book your travel insurance online at pedalo.com/en/service/travel-insurance. In any case, we recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance!

Please note that for last-minute bookings (less than 30 days before the start of the trip), insurance cover can only be taken out within 3 days of booking.
