Masuria's west

Individual arrival at Masuria - by car directly to your accommodation or by train or plane to Warsaw. We recommend regular bus service from Warsaw to Giżycko. For those travelling by car, we provide guarded parking (payable on-site). In the afternoon bicycles and information materials will be handed over. 

Today you will visit Sztynort, the former estate of the famous von Lehndorff family. After sightseeing and a short rest by the water, you will set off along the picturesque route along Lake Labap towards the Wolf’s Lair - Hitler's former headquarters. It is worth visiting and then continuing your journey towards Kętrzyn. 

The cycling tour leads to Reszel, where you can visit the castle of the bishops of Warmia and admire the beautiful panorama of the town from the church or castle tower. The next destination is Święta Lipka with the most famous church in Masuria. We recommend visiting the Jesuit church and especially listening to the organ concert, during which you can admire the moving figures on the organ prospectus. You can also buy souvenirs on-site. After the tour, the route continues towards Mrągowo, where another hotel awaits.

In the morning, you set off on a cycling tour towards Sorkwity, where you can see the palace from the outside. Then the route leads south through the Masurian Landscape Park. Through forest paths, you will reach the picturesque village of Krutyń, where you will spend the next two days. 

Today you canoe down the most beautiful section of the Krutynia River, between the villages of Krutyń and Ukta. The river is shallow and the current is calm, so even beginners will manage without any problems. The picturesque Masurian landscape of the area and rich fauna leave an unforgettable impression on tourists. Return to Krutynia by bus. In the afternoon, we recommend a walk to the village of Galkowo, where you can admire the beautiful architecture of a wooden hunting palace. 

This day will provide many experiences. To start with, we will visit the Old Believers' monastery in Wojnowo. Then the route leads along picturesque forest paths through the Pisz Forest up to Wierzba. There, using a small ferry, you will cross Lake Beldany and continue cycling towards Mikolajki. In Mikolajki you will visit an Evangelical church and have the opportunity to do some shopping.

The last day of the itinerary is filled with a ship cruise, which is sure to be the highlight of the day and a great opportunity to take some more photos of the picturesque Mazurian landscapes. In Giżycko, we recommend a visit to the Evangelical Church, Boyen Fortress, swing bridge and water tower.
